Opening the Québec Exquis! Festival, the Soirée Haute Cuisine has to be welcoming, prestigious and—especially—gourmet! Each year, this evening gathers greater Quebec City’s business community around the culinary creations of the region’s best chefs, in collaboration with local producers.
The 2017 Soirée Haute Cuisine was held at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec on March 21. For the occasion, 22 of the area’s best restaurants created original hors-d’œuvres accompanied with a selection of Languedoc wines to the delight of some 300 guests. Thanks to the devotion and involvement of the evening’s president of honour, Jean-François Chalifoux, President-CEO at SSQ, the event raised $78,000 for the Fondation Tel-jeunes!
